Viewing an @ea.com email address inbox

I got escalated to a game specialist and within 20 minutes he fixed my problem. Long ago, in an ancient ea.com/needforspeed.com account, my ea.com email address was associated to the email account my son is now currently using for his current ea.com account.
My problem had nothing to do with having xbox family center accounts nor that I shared my xbox with one of my 2 sons. In fact, the conflict was with the my son that has his own xbox. The root of the problem was that my one son and I were sharing the same
email address for our ea.com (although you couldn't see that in any of the online ea.com nor origin.com systems yourself).

Although my problem is fixed, I am still very disappointed with EA for making an overly complicated account management system. There shouldn't be hidden, secret areas of data users cannot see and change themselves. It's also telling that I wasted 2.5 hours
with ea/origin chat and phone support who couldn't figure out the secret spot to see the email address problem and that a tier 3 support person figured it out in 20 minutes.

I was told that if I tried accessing my older EA games, I would probably have problems if I don't have my own online passes. I don't play the older games so I don't mind so much about that but it is ghetto. I will not be buying EA games going forward. This
is too much of a time wasting hassle.

Could you, please, elaborate more on how you originally sent this email? We here on the Xbox Forums do not have the necessary tools to be able to look into your account to recover that email.

Was this sent out from your Microsoft account email address? If so you should be to view your inbox by going over to your
Microsoft account and under your name, where you can see your alias on the top left-hand side, you should see the More actions drop down menu. Here you can select
to View inbox.

Yes I have checked all folder's in the email address associated with the account. The contact messages, junk and inbox do not contain an email in regards to the free games.

The provided email address was and is current and valid, as proven by my receipt of an expiration notification and a survey link the next day. The only emails that didn't seem to make it to my inbox were the confirmation of payment emails.

I've never changed the email address linked to my account, so it is possible that they require you to activate it after a change.



Worth scouring your new email address' inbox and junk folder to see if there is an activation email.



Though from what you describe, it doesn't seem as if that would be the problem.
