Videos won’t upload or delete from Xbox network.

Hi there, I am trying to use screen capture to record 45 seconds of gameplay. I previously had it at 30 seconds. I took two videos that I have uploaded to the Xbox net work a few days ago.

Ever since then I have tried to do screen captures and have them uploaded and it will not upload. I have reset my Xbox while also selecting keep my games and apps.

I have also tried to clear the MAC address. I have changed my password on my Xbox account. And logged in both on the app and on the Xbox.

I have deleted the Xbox app from my iPhone multiple times.

I’m not sure what to do both in the Xbox app and on my Xbox it will not let me delete these two videos from the Xbox network.

Because of this anytime I try to upload a new video I will get the notification on my phone. I click it to open the Xbox app. And I sit there a refreshing the screen, and it just says “error”

I came back to video games after five years and I’ve owned the system just under one year… I really wish Microsoft would make a product that works.

I’m not sure how many other people are having this problem but it’s almost like the cache file is corrupted or something. It’s on the network. But I can’t upload anything and when I do it. Says error and will not let me view it.

Wow man this sucks. I miss the PS4 thing was damn near bullet proof…..

I feel like mine has been like this for awhile and I’m just now noticing it cause I took the W in warzone and wanted to upload the game winning kill lol. This is a bit ridiculous from Microsoft. Part of why I don’t want them to take over activision. Make things worse than they already are lol.

Considering you didn’t have any other options for me to try tells me that I did everything I could that it’s a software problem from the manufacture.

Just basing this off of the number of tickets I have been and still am seeing today, this is currently a widespread issue.

How are you?

You can upload up to 10 GB of captures to the Xbox network. Once you reach those limits, you’ll need to delete existing captures to upload new ones.

Any game clip or screenshot uploaded to the Xbox network that gets no views in 30 days will be deleted. Viewing it yourself counts as a view and saves a capture from deletion.

Captures that don't get uploaded to the Xbox network will remain on the console they were recorded on.

You can also store your screenshots and videos on your PC, OneDrive, and your phone.
