    Videos with Subtitles through 'Play To'


    Serious question. I understand DLNA is tough to implement, but why I can't play my videos *with* subtitles through 'Play to'?

    My sister has a hearing loss and depends on subtitles to watch videos. I don't understand why you can play videos through Netflix or even Xbox Videos with subtitles just fine, but not through 'Play to'.

    Thoughts? Am I doing something wrong?

    I currently try to find out what subtitle is supported by the Xbox, while Playing Videos there is a button for subtitles when can you use it?

    Games audio and subtitles

    Good afternoon, I've noticed that there isn't an option to change the game audio and subtitles separately, so I can only play a game with english audio and subtitles or with another language audio and subtitles, I would really like to play with english audio
    with a separate subtitle language, will that be possible in a near future? Thanks for the attention.

    So no subtitles for hard hearing or deaf people?

    i turn on all subtitles for everything i play or watch. did xbox have subtitles then get rid of them or are you just wishing they would add it? i've never bought anything from zune or xbox video, but i'm pretty sure playstation doesn't do subtitles, or at
    least they didn't for the shows and movies i bought years ago.

    Sorry, but unless the video in question has subtitles encoded into the video, there is no way to override the settings.

    oh yeah, i'm sure halo 4 will have a subtitles option. the very first thing i look for with every video game i play is turn down music, maximize voice, and toggle subtitles. is there a game out there nowadays that doesn't feature a subtitles? in some games
    you can even toggle it immediately once the game starts with a button prompt.

    If you are using a streaming service such as netflix, Hulu, amazon prime to watch the show there should be a settings bar where you can select to turn the subtitles on and in what language you want. Also if it I'd a streaming service you are using you
    can download the app on Xbox so that its easier to use, hope this helps
