Video flickering/black screen in game + crashing.

Hello,

I'm looking for help figuring out an issue that I've been seeing when playing Titanfall 2 where in-game there is an almost constant flickering and overlay of black on the screen when moving in certain directions. I've also been seeing the game crash immediately
before starting a game after matchmaking has taken place., though this doesn't happen all the time.

The problem shown above is intermittent, but sometimes it'll happen 2-3 games in a row.

It may be related if this is due to a hardware problem, but recently I've also been playing Deus Ex: Mankind Divided and at first that would crash every so often when playing, but has since gotten to the point where I can't even load a save game, and it
will often crash at the title screen. I had written this off as being a problem with the game as there are many reports of crashes online, though now that I'm seeing this issue with Titanfall 2 I'm not so sure.

I have tried using a different XBL profile, using a different copy of the Titanfall 2 disc, uninstalling/reinstalling the game, power cycling the console, and I have tried disabling/enabling YCC 4:2:2 . Display is set to 10-bit.

Additional info: TV - Sony KD55A1 OLED, Console - Project Scorpio Edition Xbox One X.

First hook up!

I hooked Xbox one up. Turned it on. Got the xbox green screen then screen went black. It's been black for 30 minutes. So I checked the video input on my tv sees fine but now it is flickering. What is going on?

What monitor are you using?

Do you get the same flickering problems when you connect the Xbox to a different display or TV? Definitely try this out.

As far as I can tell, it sounds like an HDCP problem.

You talk about going black but have flickering on Topic.

There was an official Problem with HDR Flickering on that TVs and Xbox but that should be fixed a time ago

The screen flickers when HDR or HDMI ULTRA HD Deep Colour is on in the TV, after a while of flickering it goes black, then the TV loses the signal from the Xbox. That's
my problem.

If I deactivate HDMI ULTRA HD Deep Colour, then there's no more flickering and no more black screen.

Well it isn't fixed yet, I'm 100% sure I am on the latest firmware on both the LG C9 and the Xbox One X.

Dealing with the same thing. I sure hope MS is working on a patch for this. Playing games and watching Netflix gets frustrating without a constant picture.
