Video Capture not capturing my own voice. Is push to talk an options?

Hello,

I love using Windows Key + Alt + G to capture the last 30 seconds of gameplay in my games.

I have set it up to capture all system sound and my microphone, so it is capturing the output coming from Discord as well as my game, but it is not capturing my microphone.

I would love to use the push to talk option. I currently press my mouse button 4 or 5 to speak in Discord, which is remapped using X-Mouse to remap that to emulate F24 being pressed. I'd like to be able to only capture audio in these clips when I'm using
my push to talk key, but this is not imperative.

I might try using VB-CABLE Virtual Audio Device to emulate an output device that captures both and see if that works if nobody else has a solution, and if that works, I'll post it here. I might alternatively capture that as an audio file separately, and
replace the audio in the clip instead.

You are on to the right solution. The Xbox gaming overlay can only capture audio from one device, so you will need to pre-mix. Smart idea and solution.

Sorry to hear it. Please open your game bar and go to Settings then Capturing and make sure that you have the proper option for recording there. Then go to Voice Chat and make sure that Enable Push to Talk is unchecked

you could use a capture card on a pc and connect the 360 there and have the voice output to the speakers,

Than use the software that captures the video to capture the audio also

I don't think I am explaining myself well enough, I'm not talking about using the included x1 capture device (it's junk) I use my own, but until they give us us the voice output option like in in the picture I posted in a prior comment this isn't possible...
No hardware would need upgraded to allow this. Once we can send chat through TV then at that point it's picked up by my hdmi and thus being captured by my hd pvr.
