Very Slow Download Speeds From Microsoft Store/Xbox Game Pass PC

Hello, I am experiencing extremely slow download speeds when downloading a game from the games with gold collection. A speed test and other sources allow me to download at 20mbps, but I am only getting 1-2 mbps, and sometimes even less than that, from the
microsoft store page. I have tried a number of other options suggested, and am at a loss for how to fix this. After 8 hours I have only downloaded half of the file.

The solutions I've tried are

Using the windows trouble shooter

Updating windows to the latest version

Clearing the windows store cache

Resetting/Re-registering the Windows Store

Deleted the Software Distribution Folder

Removed the cap from the Delivery Optimization Settings

Disabled my anti-virus

Reset my router

Tried a different internet connection

If anyone has any other solutions it would be greatly appreciated.

i can only tell you that its most on microsoft side, the servers.

this weekend i only had 20-30Mbits from 300 (1100 theoretical).

Check for any service outages on Xbox Status here:

Try clearing the Microsoft Store cache by running wsreset in the Run window. That usually helps speed things up.

You can also try testing it on an other Windows user account on the same PC, just to see if it's something with the profile.

This did not help infact they are no longer downloading at all now.

It's like they are also stuck and it doesn't even allow me to uninstall them.

Every time I click to refresh it does nothing. Every time I click to uninstall it just disappears and reappears.

I also did download other items from the windows store just to test speed. Absolutely no difference.

Do not recommend following these instructions as now I can't even download the game slowly.

1. Right-click on the Windows icon.

2. Select Command Prompt (Admin).

3. In the User Account Control pop-up window, confirm your choice.

4. In the new window, enter the following commands, pressing Enter after each:

ipconfig/flushdns

ipconfig/registerdns

ipconfig/release

ipconfig/renew

netsh winsock reset

Clear store cache

Windows key + r and type ''wsreset'' wait for the black screen to close and open the store, it takes a while.

Restart your PC and then try to install the games again.

Click on ''see details'' should present an error code for you, send me that code. Can you download other games/apps normally?

Third-party programs and services can disrupt the store, I saw another case that an antispy was preventing the user from downloading anything. Try disabling these types of programs and even your antivirus.

Then perform a clean boot and try again.

On the Desktop, press the Windows + R keys simultaneously to open Run;

In Run type MSCONFIG and click OK to open System Configuration;

On the Services tab, check ''Hide all Microsoft services'' and click Disable All;

Click Apply and OK;

Restart the computer and try again.
