    Very slow dashboard and system performance


    After the first 2206 ring ALPHA update the performance of the dashboard and the system became very slow. In the home it does not load the preview images of the store, friends and community and gamepass tab. The downloads of game and app updates are very slow the download speed is not stable and sometimes they even stop and then restart by themselves to download and when I click on suspend everything it takes a lot of time before the downloads stop. I have the Xbox series X console in power saving mode, connected with an ethernet cable, on the console I have the Seagate SSD 1TB card and a Seagate firecuda RGB 2tb USB 3.2 external HDD. for backwards compatible and non-optimized games for Xbox X / S series. I had none of these issues prior to this update. My internet connection works perfectly. Restarting the console a bit got better but it's not as fast as it was before this update and as it always has been. I have already reported the problem from the console as well. Has anyone noticed the same thing? thank you.

    What kind of xbox 360 console are you using? If that is the model with outer HDD I suggest you to make sure that the HDD is formatted and well connected to your console.

    Sorry, I should have clarified. A "slow" Dashboard in regards to the functions of Xbox LIVE (Buffering/ Messages/ Invites and such). Not as a "general" term for the overall performance of the Dashboard.

    Dashboard is very slow to load.

    Try to reboot both your modem and router. Xbox Live has its good days and bad days. It seems the dashboard is too focused on loading the uneeded Kinect and advertisement overheads instead of loading itself :|
