    Very Puzzling Headset/Chat Problems


    Hi, i hope someone here can help me.

    I am having problems talking in party chat. When i turn my turtle beach headset on, i can hear game audio and my friends in party chat. When i touch the microphone with my hand, it make a noise, so i know the mic is working. However, no one can hear me in chat. This exact headset was working 2 days ago, yet now this has happened.

    I’ve looked at every guide and tried everything.

    I’m not muted, I’ve hard reset both the xbox and my router twice. I’ve changed my NAT type and I’ve checked to see if there is a firmware update for my headset. The real kicker is i can send voice messages to people from this exact headset yet they can’t hear me in party chat??? Go and figure that one out.

    The only difference i’ve noticed is that usually when i connect this headset, it usually says power on as well as bluetooth on, and i normally get an xbox notification saying the headset is connected. At the moment it simply says power on and no notification, but remember i can send voice messages so it makes no sense. I’m not sure whether this significant or not to be honest just thought i’d mention.

    I have an xbox series S with Turtle Beach stealth 700 headset.

    Also when i first connect the headset to my xbox and start a party to test it, the circle around my picture flickers up for a split second and my name on the overlay does the same, then nothing after that.

    Party Chat Through Speakers Instead of Headset

    I have the exact same problem. I plug in and unplug my headset, but party chat wants to go through kinect. Sometimes my headset does work, however. Very frustrating.
