Very poor support

    Very poor support


    Absolutely fuming, I have a xbox series s that keeps asking for update whilst booting then wont connect to WiFi to do the update. I raised the issue and microsoft sent me a label to post to them for repair. A few days later recieved an email saying the xbox is being posted back without repair. When I spoke to technical support they told me that someone has tried to open it and broke the seal. This xbox is 3 weeks old and was bought as a gift for my son at Christmas. No-one has attempted to open the xbox as it is still under warranty. I am not accepting this poor support from Microsoft, but do need to find out what my next steps are. They are simply lieing about the xbox being opened.

    I've known two people that were waiting for emails from Xbox Support and turns out they will sitting unread in their spam folders.

    Hey there Elk! I'm sincerely sorry to hear that! Let's see what we can do to get everything taken care of.

    In this situation, I suggest getting in touch with phone support by using the
    Contact Us page. That will help you get in touch with phone support and will even let you skip waiting on hold since it will have them call you rather than you having to call them. Once you explain the situation
    to them, they will be best equipped to assist going forward.

    Hi Cerb!

    thank you for your reply but the suggestion you gave me unfortunately does not help, because apparently there isn't any phone contact! on the Contact Us page I can only choose a method between these 3: chat or forum or tweet, there is not any phone option
    at all!

    However, in the end i take the decision to buy a second hand Xbox 4Gb on a local store, spending another 109 euros, but I thought this was the only way to save the money I've already spent at least.

    If even this second console will fail in the next close future, i really hope to get the possibility to speak with someone by phone by then if not, I will end with any play activity with xbox because it will be far too expensive and so I will go back to
    the Sony PS because it never let me down in many years.
