Very hot when "turned off"

    Hi guys,

    I just noticed tonight that after a month of not turning my xbox one console on, it is pretty hot on top. This is really weird to me considering the console hasn't even been turned on in a month. Any thoughts or suggestions?

    Hitman Absolution not very "hot"

    I thought Hitman Absolution was absolutely AMAZING! I loved all the missions, the music, the gameplay, and how you could interact with just about everything you came across. Very hot when "turned off" :) However, I did notice one thing, not a whole lot of people play it. I think
    with Black Ops II and all these other games coming out, it kinda killed it. Very hot when "turned off" :(

    If you have it in Instant On mode it will pull power, spin up the HD to check for updates and install them and even the power supply fan is always on. Want your Xbox to actually be off, then put it on Energy Saving mode which only takes about 15 seconds
    longer to turn on.

    If you have it in Instant On mode it will pull power, spin up the HD to check for updates and install them and even the power supply fan is always on. Want your Xbox to actually be off, then put it on Energy Saving mode which only takes about 15 seconds
    longer to turn on.

    No, the console turns off automatically when it gets very hot. Even if he did not have a cooler, he would be safe.
