Verizon payment method

If it's being declined but the option IS being recognized as an acceptable payment option, then the only scenario would be that Verizon is not allowing that payment to go through. Xbox won't deny a payment unless it's failing on the payment side.

However, you can try making the purchase from a different device but if that doesn't help, you would have to either choose a different payment option or contact Verizon.

I regret to inform you that if Verizon doesn’t appear as a payment method on the payment options website I shared below, this means your country is not eligible for mobile billing with Verizon.

I also haven't been able to use Verizon carrier billing for 4 or 5 months. It's not even an option on my Microsoft account when going to pick a new Payment method.

I don't even have Carrier Billing like I used to.

Verizon has no holds on me or anything.

I see the official Microsoft page says they still support Verizon Mobile Carrier Billing

Mobile number payments would mean the charge would show up on your cellular bill. Check your Verizon account online (or call Verizon support) to confirm if your Verizon account had actually been billed for the game.
