    Verizon (ISPs): Can an Xbox One/One X be directly wired to a FiOS router?
    I am moving to a new apartment that supports fiber optic internet from Verizon. Im not sure how the process differs from a regular cable setup. Can it still be wired via ethernet cable? I have the option of cable too. Obviously at much slower speeds. Any
    help is appreciated!

    FiOS App listed on Xbox One site is MIA on the console.

    The FIOS app was just released today. You can read the headline here:

    12:00 AM EST - Verizon Fios 50/30

    Xbox One - Took around a minute but got to 3850 kbps @ 1920 x 1080 (Wireless)

    Windows 8.1 PC - Took the same time as Xbox One and got to 3850 kbps @ 1920 x 1080 (Wired)

    iPad 3 - 2 seconds and went strait to 4300 kbps @ 1920 x 1080 (Wireless)

    Do you use ADSL, VDSL or Fibre Optic Broadband for Xbox 1?

    Verizon Fios. Last I checked it was 23 up 33 down however if I was directly wired to the router it would be faster but I don't currently have that option.

    I am using the regular router that Verizon supplies for FIOS. I am wired and I pay for 100 Mbps. The Xbox pulls about 100 everytime I check on it.
