xbox does not use bluetooth, the controllers do for other devices but the xbox nope.

it uses 2.4ghz wireless connection to controller.

Have you added any 2.4GHz Equipment near your Xbox360..?? (Wireless N Router, Using WiFi on Xbox360, 2.4GHz Cordless Phones, Wireless Turtle Beach Headset etc..)

The Xbox Controllers use the 2.4GHz Band for communicating with the Xbox360..

The hori pad ex2 turbo was officially licensed by Microsoft for use with the 360. using this controller in a game should not get you banned by microsoft. On the other hand if the game developer wants to ban people for using turbo controllers they need to
clearly put it in the EULA that comes with the game.

the problem with Datel was that they were not licensed and they were wireless. the lawsuit had nothing to do with it being a turbo controller but that it was using proprietary hardware that was owned by microsoft.

I have the experience you'r looking for. I have both the Xbox 360 wireless receiver and an Xbox One controller.

The Xbox One Controller is not compatible with the Xbox 360 Wireless receiver. They wont sync or communicate in any way.

(Something worth noting is that Both controllers support 2.4 GHz.

Officially licensed Xbox 360 controllers with Turbo Programmability are NOT "modded controllers".



Regardless of whether or NOT you are using a Officially Licensed Turbo Controller or you are using a Modified OEM controller, there is no way to distinguish between the two unless they come into your house.



The problem is overzealous game developers that WILLINGLY choose to NOT put in specific and proper safeguards, IE Firing Rate Caps and then ban you even though you are using a Supported Peripheral Device such as an officially licensed by Microsoft (Xbox
360) Turbo Controller versus an OEM "modded" turbo controller.



Using a Officially Licensed by Microsoft (Xbox 360) turbo controller is NOT a violation of Microsoft's ToU. Once again, that doesn't mean people won't file a complaint against your or have an ill-informed game moderator or arrogant game developer suspend
your account.
