Vanguard Controller issue ...

Hello, I play Vanguard X/S on my Xbox series S with keyboard and mouse. I use the game controller only to navigate into the game. Once I'm playing, the controller times out and shuts off. I then get a message over the whole screen saying this game needs the controller. Only way to dismiss the message is by turning the controller on then hit the A button. By then I'm dead. Very annoying as it will interrupt my game everytime the controller shuts off. This does not occur in MW and Cold war. The controller shuts off with no interruptions to my game.

Ok, good to hear I'm not alone lol. Yeah i had no issues with the beta as well. Strange. I sent this issue to Activision support, i will pass on their response. I also wonder, if i plug into usb and i have rechargeable batteries in the controller, will the batteries charge ?

this is a vangaurd issue not microsoft issue. the controllers work perfectly in other games it is just in crappy vangaurd that this happens.

Ahh ok thanks. Didn't think of that. So connecting to usb will keep the controller from timing out ? It just stays on while plugged in ? Appreciate it... Pete
