    Valheim controls


    Been playing Valheim on Steam for just under a year using an xbox controller. - Obviously downloaded the release of Valheim and noticed some functions are not working on Xbox pc Valheim.

    Using 'A' to pick up brings up the text command chat - Crazy frustrating. Any help how to not have the text command chat brought up? - Tried changing the controller set up in setting and proves useless.

    Rotate while building is nonexistent. - Shows in the controller set up but does not work.

    Also noted cross play is still not working.

    Anyone else having this issue? - I can just continue on steam but really would like to see Valheim succeed on this platform. I have several friends that are excited to paly when its the full release in 23' and it would be nice to have that capability with them.

    I was checking if maybe someone else reported something similar. But nothing so far.

    Right now the best option would be contact the developer and share this feedback with them if you're experiencing this only on Valheim

    As per checking, Valheim is not currently available on Xbox consoles. As of my knowledge, Valheim was only available on PC. The developers of the game, Iron Gate, have not announced any plans to release Valheim on Xbox consoles at this time. However, there's a rumor online that the game will be released on Xbox in Spring 2023.
