UWQHD for Forza Motorsport 6 ??

I bought this game because the upgrade message (from the demo version) promised support for "Up to 4K". I am running plenty of other games in UWQHD but can only go to 1920 * 1280 in Forza Motorsport 6. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Playing the game
on a 34 inch UW monitor with HUGE black bars on the left and right is no fun ;-)

What's the resolution of your monitor? Currently, Forza Motorsport 6 Apex does not support 21:9 resolutions, however I definitely encourage you to pass the feedback along on our
Xbox Feedback page. You can vote for any similar ideas you have that are already posted, or post up your own idea if you don't see a similar idea up.

Hi! thanks for responding. My monitor is standard UWQHD - 3440 x 1440. The update notices for the non-demo version claim resolutions "up to 4k". Can you tell me why I don't see any higher than 1920 * 1280??

It may be due to your monitor being a 1440p monitor, normally referred to as 2K. Normally 4K resolution on a 16:9 monitor comes out to 3840x2160, and the Ultra Wide monitors that come closest (or commonly referred to as UWQHD+) to 4K resolutions are 3840x1600,
and there aren't too many of those out at this moment.

Do you have the option to select 2560x1440 in the options menu? If so, that will be the best resolution for your monitor. Let us know if that's what you see!

The Resolution selection in the Video section of the Forza 6 menu does not list anything superior to 1920*1280. I uninstalled and reinstalled the program. No luck. Is there some other setting I need to enable in order to see the higher resolutions?? Thanks

Oh right, that was in your original post, apologies for missing that! Do you have an Nvidia GPU? If so, maybe the GeForce Experience might be causing wires to get crossed a little. Within the GeForce Experience, try adjusting the game resolution from there,
or disable the Nvidia GeForce Experience from making any changes from Forza Motorsport 6: Apex entirely.

No, I have an AMD (Sapphire Technology Nitro+ ATI Radeon RX 480 8 Go GDDR5). I have disabled the onboard video. I see that in the menu it says that the resolutions offered are based on the programs assessment of the computer's hardware. Surely the problem
is here! Can you ask the programmers if there is a workaround? I'd like very much to try the 2560*1440 setting! I am running Forza 6 at 3440*1440...

Unfortunately this possibly may be an issue rooted down to lack of 21:9 support for that specific game, or there's an external program that could be interfering with the resolution. I would ensure that your GPU drivers are up to date, and double check that
AMD's Gaming Evolved software isn't making any changes to the game. After that, we do also recommend checking the official

Turn10 Forza Motorsport 6 Apex forums to see if there's any additional information regarding 21:9 support, including any possible tips the community can provide.
