Using your mic while streaming to pc

The headset is wireless and works fine normaly

Thanks for reaching out here in Xbox Forums. I'm sorry to hear about the issue with a muted mic while streaming. I recommend to try the following troubleshooting steps:

• Try your Headset with another device, such as a laptop, to see if the headset is working. If not, the headset will need to be replaced.
• Try using a Headset Adapter for compatibility issues
• Try your Headset on another controller, if you can. If the headset works on the second controller, try
  updating the first controller again.
  If that fails, the controller will need to be replaced. To order a replacement, go to the
  Xbox Online Service Center.
• Check the network ports that let your Xbox One console communicate with the Xbox Live servers
  

If the problem persists, try doing a
soft factory reset of the console,
Reset and keep games and apps to help reset the operating system. Please note before doing this troubleshooting step, make sure to know your email and passwords for your Xbox profiles.

As suggested above, this may have to do with the current network connection, so we would suggest checking the current home network status:

Unfortunately you can't use usb mics with the xbox one, you'll have to buy a headset or use an usb mic with a pc while streaming from the xbox.

A patch was released for the xbox app, and that has fixed this issue for me. Used my PC mic while streaming earlier today without issue, so this seems to have been fixed, finally.

Same. Not sure if it matters but I'm using the Xbox beta app, mic worked with headset plugged into the controller while streaming.
