    Using xbox 360 save data with xbox one game pass game


    I own Resident Evil 5 (and all of the DLC for it) on the xbox 360 and I uploaded my saved data for my profile from my xbox 360 to the cloud. I checked the save data on the cloud and it says In Sync. I recently upgraded to the xbox game pass ultimate so I
    could play Resident Evil 5 on my xbox one. I installed Resident Evil 5 on my xbox one console, my profile is signed in, but when I start the game and choose my profile, it says there isn't any saved game data for that game on my profile. But obviously there
    is.

    I've tried restarting my console. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the games. I've tried signing in and out. I've tried deleting the data from the cloud and copying it again onto the cloud. Nothing helps.

    Why is it not seeing my RE5 saved game data and syncing it? How can I fix that?

    It's the same story with Resident Evil 4, it's not syncing the data from the cloud to the game. I have literally every infinite weapon and figurine unlocked. Same with RE4. I really don't want to have to redo all of that just to have it on the xbox one.

    Hi! Are you using xbox one or 360? If, xbox 360, Are you also referring to saved game data and plan to move to another xbox 360? Follow this link below:

    support.xbox.com/.../manage-games-data

    If you use xbox one, your saved data are automatically stored to cloud storage if you are connected to xbox live and if you plan to use it on another xbox one, simply sign in your profile and launch the game, it will sync your recent saved game.

    Happy to take a look at this with you, for starters have you successfully moved your save data from the Xbox 360 into the cloud to download on the Xbox One? Also are you using the same profile on the Xbox 360 and Xbox One? Here is a guide that will show
    you how to move the save data from the Xbox 360 into the cloud.
    Copy, move or delete Xbox saved games, profiles, and avatar items    .

    Make sure the save data is in the cloud and let us know how that goes!

    Hi there,

    if the save game is correctly saved on Xbox Live via cloud storage and the 360 game is supported via Backwards compatibility on Xbox One and you are using the same account on Xbox One as on the Xbox 360 then the save game should be available.

    You cannot unfortunately unless you are using cloud saved data which you can if you are using a Xbox 360 to transfer game data to Xbox One.
