My Turtle Beach x41 Xbox 360 headsets recently broke and a place where I can't just simply order a replacement part.

I currently have a setup where use my x41 as a Dolby to Dolby headphone converter,. and take the output sound and run it through my 3.5 mm headphones and I can hear the game perfectly fine in Dolby headphone.

The problem comes if I want to use chat. If I remember right the Xbox 360 has 2 separate chat channels, 1 inbound and 1 outbound, on the controller itself. I believe the 3.5 mm headset has a left inbound channel or right inbound channel and and outbound
    channel.

Finally I assume that the chat channel from the headphone is mono unless it's part of the game. Then it's mixed in the game sound effects and music in the appropriate spatial place it exists in the game universe.

What kind of extra equipment I need do I need to get both the twitch stream and me and my partner / opponents to hear both of our blurbs?

    :)

Stereo headset adapter to use with my xbox one and turtle beach x12

You say mic and sound wires. Do you mean you have 2 separate 3.5 mm plugs for your headset, 1 for mic, and 1 for the stereo headphone speakers?

If that is the case you may need to get an adapter to combine the channels into 1 3.5 mm plug.

    Something like this.

    How to connect my headphones

    RashFurball,

What brand of headphones are these and are they Xbox supported?

You could try purchasing an dual 3.5 mm to single 3.5 mm adapter to see if that helps.

Keep us updated on the situation.

voice chat on xbox one x

    Hello again,

If you have an Xbox One Wireless Controller with a 3.5-mm port, you can connect a headset with a standard 3.5-mm jack directly to the controller. (The 3.5-mm port is a small circular port on the bottom of the controller.) Find out how to adjust your
audio settings at Use the Chat Headset with Xbox One. For more information on 3.5-mm standards, see Standards
    for audio jacks
    , below.

    Hope this helps

Have to use Kinect mic to chat

    Hi

If you have headphones with a standard 3.5.mm jack, check to see if you have anywhere to plug your headphones directly in to the TV. This should work while using the Kinect as a mic.

You can can also try using a standard 3.5mm hands-free set of earphones which usually come with a mobile phone, if your controller supports 3.5mm.

    Regards

How do I get my Turtle Beach x32 headset to work for voice chat?

if you are using the standard Xbox one controller then you don't have the 3.5 mm headphone / headset port which does mean a adapter would be required.

You'll be able to communicate threw parties, use cortana (If your region allows her,) and send voice messages

Basically what standard Xbox one headsets do.
