    Using Same Email but getting two different gamertags


    My son has been playing minecraft under my xbox gamertag on a PC. He got his own PC and when I log into the xbox app on his computer it shows a different gamertag that does not have the gamepass. It is not allowing me to play on his computer without purchasing the game again. I can not figure out how to change to the other gamertag that is logged in on the other computer. I've used the same email and password for both log in. On one it has Gamertag1 and on the other Gamertag2

    Sorry to hear about your issues with the account migration for Minecraft. It sounds like there is just an account association issue with what Microsoft account has your license for Minecraft on it.

    I would recommend checking out the following article here for a possible solution directly from the Mojang team. If the article itself cannot provide a solution, use the Report a Concern button on the bottom of the page to open a ticket with the team directly. They have the resources available to figure out where the disconnect might be and get you back up and running.

    the only way for there to be two gamertags on one email is a system glitch, there is more than likely a different email being used as the Microsoft account for the old gamertag

    Ah, so your saying those two different gamertags are attached to the same email? Are you sure your Gates email account is not just forwarding to the Mountaineer email?
