Using my laptop screen as a monitor for my xbox one

No, unfortunately you can't, your best bet is to connect your xbox and your pc to the internet and use the xbox app for streaming.

I am trying to play my xbox one on my laptop, as I have no TV, And I am trying to use an HDMI cable to be able to use my laptop screen as a monitor for my xbox one. I have searched everywhere on how to do it, but my xbox isnt connected to the internet
to sue the xbox app for streaming, as I have no screen to use to connect it to the internet.

I found this to be the best method, but it requires an ethernet chord instead of an HDMI chord. It is very rare to have an HDMI-in port on a laptop, just like it is highly uncommon to have a USB-in. Learned that the hard way. Any who, hope this helps!

Can you post the exact make and model of your laptop to check if it's a laptop with HDMI-In?

Just be aware that 99% of laptops do NOT have a HDMI in port, as that would cost additional licensing fees from the HDMI consortium, and since most people don't need a HDMI in, they always try to cut these costs by not including a HDMI in.

If there is only one HDMI port on your laptop, then it's only a HDMI out port, and you can't use it to connect your Xbox to it.

In most cases, you're better off buying a cheap computer monitor with HDMI input and use that, in case your laptop only has HDMI out.
