Using my gems

Wait, there's radiant STAR gems??? I thought STAR gems were the highest gems you can get. I got my jeweler to level ten, but I don't seen any gems higher than STAR gem. But if you got radiant star gems then, I would like to buy some from you, probably one
of each to try and see how effective they will be and buy more once I see with ones I want to use.

Save Grand soul gems filled with "Grand" soul. Use the other soul gems to fill weapons or sell them to make money. Grand soul gems filled with Grand souls are the highest soul gems for enchanting.

I think I may also be having this same type of an problem since I just yesterday tried to use some of my gems too for an 250 Gem reward, no email for that one yet.

but in any case I have yet to get an redeem email code for it, not really sure where I need to go for them to send me my code anyway, it sounds related to some of these problems report on this forum. I think it should convert the points to Microsoft rewards
points correct, so I can use it on my xbox one, anyway if it was an direct $5 dollar deposit that would be fine, but I don't think its show up on my account yet. it sounds like their having problems with some of these 250 gem rewards , I used an 100 gem rewards
also yesterday I got an email for that one, but not my 250 gem reward yet.

Yeah that's been one of my biggest wish lists for this game: Make every item in the game useful for something. Soul gem scraps, charcoal, shovels and such are still useless. Say for example charcoal could be needed to get a smelter working, shovels could
be needed to dig up treasures, soul gem scraps could be used to combine a soul gem, paper could be used to make scrolls, but nope.

When you're selecting a soul gem to recharge an enchanted weapon, look at the blue bar that shows how much charge is left. You'll see a barely visible light blue bar and that indicates how much charge the weapon will have after you use a soul gem.



Don't use Black soul gems to recharge weapons. Although it will always fully charge it, they're the most rare gem and very powerful. Only use them to enchant weapons as you will get the most power you can when one is used. Black soul gems can only be filled
by capturing a human soul, such as a bandit, necromancer, Forsworn tribesman, etc.



I'm not sure how much you know about soul gems but the larger the creature, the bigger the soul gem that is needed in order to capture it. Petty soul gems are the smallest and hold the souls of such creatures like mudcrabs and skeevers. Grand soul gems are
just below Black soul gems in terms of power. These can hold the souls of Giants and Mammoths. Just remember, if you soul trap a creature like a wolf and the only available soul gem you have is a Greater or a Grand gem, the soul will be placed in that gem
and not giving you the power a gem like that can provide. So make sure you're well stocked with all sizes of gems when soul capturing.
