Using earphones in party chat and not only can my mates not hear me but they hear a loud...

• May I know on how do you connect your earphones to your device?
  
• When does this problem occur? Does this only happen if you are playing your Xbox game?
  
• When did the issue started?
  
• Have you tried connecting your Apple earphones on different devices to check if the problem is the same? If not yet, I would suggest to try it on different devices for us to properly isolate the problem.
  

Those above questions would help us provide the necessary information. Once we collect all the information, we will formulate the feasible resolution to help you with your case.

Thanks for that and even though I've done this before I have just now done it again but the problem still exists.

I don't understand how others can here me loud and clear and I can hear them loud and clear and yet I cannot hear my own voice at all in my earphones. How is it even possible??

Others can hear me through my mic but I can't hear me through the same mic!!!??

Question, I can hear the game audio, but I cant change the chat volume, yet I can still hear my friends in party's and game chat. The only way I can change how loud there voice is to change the game volume on my X12. I tried going to preferences and voice,
but when I switch to play through headset, I don't hear my friends. Is there anyway I can change my friends voice volume? Because chat volume doesn't work on game chat and party chat.

My headset only works in party chat. When I'm playing other games I can see that people are talking but I can't hear them and they can't hear me. It only works in party chat.
