Using currency for another account.

Hi

Can someone with currency on their account buy stuff for someone else's account, or get it transferred over. My mum redeemed my prepaid points onto her account, as my account kept saying it was locked. She now has £15.00 sitting in her account and we don't
know how to get it into my account. Can this be done?

gamertag change

reason for post trying to change gamertag redeemed the points to change it but was converted to currency and so the gamertag needs to be changed another way before the system can change the gamertag using 800 points but since the account enrolled to beta
all points convert to money but the issue is there is no option to change the gamertag using currency this as urgent and could this be fixeed asap please

Sorry, but no. Nothing can be transferred between accounts and you can't gift a purchase to another account.

The only option available here, if both profiles are on the same console, is for your mother to purchase the content you want from her profile (you will be able to access the content on that console, but won't own it yourself)... Of course, you could also
have her give you £15.00 and let her use the currency in her account for whatever she wants.

Define what you mean by migrated? Like were you in a different region and had leftover currency from that region? Ex. If I lived in Canada for a while and then moved to America. Would my Canadian currency switch to American currency? OR Are you saying
that when they converted your Microsoft Points into Microsoft currency that it somehow ended up on some other account?

If you migrated from another region/country... you are out of luck, unfortunately. International currencies are non-transferable.

If your currency ended up on another account and you only have ONE... how do you know your currency ended up on another account? That is sort of confusing to me. If you feel like your currency ended up not being applied to your account at all or to ANOTHER
account you need to contact customer support at 1-800-4MY-XBOX if you are in the US or Canada or go to
support.xbox.com/.../contact-us if you are elsewhere.

Unfortunately, no. You cannot transfer or exchange currencies and you cannot use a currency that is from another country than the one of your account.

Hello, first off it's better to create a new thread instead of bumping older ones.

As for your currency, it's not lost. It can only be used in the region that it was originally purchased for.

If you move from the US and have US currency on your account it is still there but can only be used for US purchases. If you had currency for another region on your account it can be viewed at commerce.microsoft.com
