    Hello,

    My cousin has and is using a prepaid 12 month Xbox Live subscription. I bought a one month code for Game Pass Ultimate.

    If he uses the GPU code while his Live subscription is active, will he be able to continue the remainder of his Live subscription after the GPU month is complete?

    I want to make sure he doesn't lose his current subscription, nor will he have to pay more if using this GPU code changes his subscription.

    It is probably because you previously activated your game pass ultimate subscription. If you redeem a prepaid gold or game pass code while you have active the game pass ultimate subscription, the code will extend the time of the game pass ultimate subscription
    but considering a conversion. A 12-month code of Xbox Live Gold extends a 4-month equivalent of a Game Pass Ultimate subscription.

    Thanks for coming to the forums. When you have an active Ultimate game pass subscription, any code redeemed converts to Ultimate subscription. In this case 12 months of Xbox live gold convert to 4 months of Ultimate game pass. The ultimate game pass subscription
    is three subscriptions in one, Xbox live gold, Game pass for console, and Game pass for PC. Here is the

    Got 12 months of Xbox live gold and it gave me 4 months

    When you have an active Ultimate subscription and you add a regular Gold or Game Pass code, it'll be converted to Ultimate at a conversion rate based on price rather than time. 12 months of Gold is equal to 4 months of Ultimate. In order to keep the full 12 months of just Gold, you would either need to cancel your Ultimate subscription or wait for it to expire before adding the new code.

    Codes are one time use, so if you completed the transaction and used the 12 month code, you cannot use it again after your Ultimate expires.

    If you add a 12 month Gold or standard Game Pass code while you have an active Game Pass Ultimate subscription, it will be converted to Ultimate. 12 months of Gold is equal to 4 months of Ultimate. In order to keep the full 12 months, you have to cancel your Ultimate or let it run out before you add the new code.
