    Useful Idea for xbox system update


    Please consider adding the option on the Xbox to stop the headset from automatically turning on the system when you hit the power button on the headphones. Every time I go to use the headphones with any other device my Xbox turns on and I have to physically hit the power button on the Xbox to turn it off. Would be great under accessories and the headset options to have a box to click "Do Not turn Xbox automatically on when powered up". Truly this would probably be a big fix for many of us and very much appreciated and needed. Thanks!

    Go ahead and try installing the update on a separate storage device, such as a USB:

    How to get a new Xbox 360 update     is a good reference if you have any questions doing that.

    Before applying the update from the flash it might be a good idea to first delete the previous update (current system update might be corrupt)

    Go to settings>system>storage press LB RB X LB RB X and select yes.

    then try to update from the USB flash

    if your xbox has no system updates or app updates available then its already up to date, if your on about the one on PC then no idea when that will be or even if it will be available on the xbox.
