    US Xbox to be use in SIngapore

    You'll need a new power brick as the AC power standard in Singapore is 230v, 50hz. Call your local XBOX support number to order one.

    360 game region encoding is not mandatory. There's an unofficial list of games and which regions they work with

    I bought a US Xbox 360 in US on a trip there so can i use it in Singapore? Is there any restriction on the games that is selling in Singapore?

    How about the power as i believe the power is different comparing to Singapore? Any help is greatly appreciated

    Used XBox

    To register the console, log in with your Microsoft account and go to the
    Device Support     webpage. On that page, you can register your console with the serial number found on the sticker on the back of the Xbox.

    I take it that your used console needs a system update. Connect it to the internet and begin the system
    update process    . I recommend a wired connection to prevent most possible errors. Have patience as the update downloads and installs, since this usually takes a while. The latest system update is required to connect to Xbox Live.

    When you insert a game disc in the Xbox One, you should see the game icon show up on the screen. Select it to begin the installation. You may also be prompted to download an update, so accept that too (it will simultaneously download while the Xbox installs
    the base game files from the disc).

    If its used it might be out if the warrenty. Regesting will be good for you to keep track of in your devices and if you need it to go out for repair, but the cost would mostly be on you. The update just need you to be connected to you internet and live

    Can you please describe your problem in a little more detail? Upgrade? You mean system update? Have you created your own Xbox account and logged innusing that? Do you have an active internet connection on the Xbox?

    If it needs an update, it should allow this when connected to the internet. Buying used has some risk that you purchased a faulty console

    Hi

    I have Xbox 360 from UK and recently i moved to US. i connect my xbox with a converter and it didnt start up. Its looks like you didnt had any problem with starting up. I knw their is different power supply but is there anything i can do to make it work

    The games sold in Singapore are NTSC-J, and the power outlets are different than the ones in the US. So don't plan on buying games there unless you buy a console as well. If you take your own games, then all you will need is a power convertor.

    I understand, but can there be a problem in the future because of the previous owner of this xbox? this can be about anything I just want to make sure I'm safe.
    As soon as an Xbox has been identified as 'modded', the Enforcement team will take suitable action. This is regardless of who has the Xbox, whether you are the owner or you have sold it to someone else. This is why I avoid buying used consoles for this reason just in case it has been modded. But that's my choice. Friends buy used consoles, and they haven't run into any issues.

    You could ask the person who you are buying the console off, and hope they are truthful with you. You could check the console before purchase, to see if there is anything unusual about it.
