You could try asking Microsoft for a courtesy refund. They may likely recommend seeking a refund from the publisher directly.

These games won't be coming to BC, probably ever. The issue with licenses isn't one for Microsoft it's one that the publishers have to solve. The Avatar and Iron Man games are based off movie licenses. These licenses are acquired by Publishers/developers
from the movie studio's and they are only for a finite period of time.

When these licenses expire they're gone. Only the game publisher can bring them back. Microsoft can't do anything about it.

Since game developers/publishers pay millions for these licenses, the chances of them bringing back for this game are unlikely to none existent, sorry about that.

Why should Microsoft do anything? It isn't their fault that a game someone else developed and published isn't playable. That is why you do research before purchasing a game, especially when you purchase digital copies.
