Use swipe in controls not working correctly after last update

Windows 8.1, all updates are installed.

After Minesweeper Sept. 20's update, swipe control does not work like used to be.

(Sorry for my improving English, I don't know how to describe it

Xbox 360 control on pc not working after last windows update

After the last windows update i have not been able to use my xbox 360 controls in forza 7 or horizon 3. The control works fine in my steam games. Does anyone know how to fix this issue?

After I did the last update of my console, my control stop working even with USB cable. I`m very upset with the company please help me with this situation What can I do. And I dont have a Windows10, I use to work with MAC

After Sept. 20's update, swipe on a blank block or a block with enough flags near it won't open other blocks, and swipe on an unopen block won't flag on it easily like old days.

I really need to improve my English... I hope you can understand what I said.

Hey StopDinosaur,

Today I'm having the same issue. My wirless Xbox One Controller isn't working properly. If I press the down botton on the D-pad, it keep stuck and moving down forever and my A, B, Start and other buttons stop working :|

Have you verified that this is not a hardware issue? As in, does your Xbox One controller function correctly elsewhere, like on your Xbox One Console?

If it's not a hardware issue, you might be well off reinstalling the drivers for your controller. Press the Win key and search for 'drivers'. You should be able to find the Xbox Controller drivers towards the bottom of the list. Uninstall
those and then plug your controller back in for them to be reinstalled. See if that fixes your issue.

If that doesn't work, it could be that the title you are playing has controller compatibility issues. I would recommend contacting the developer in that case.

There does seem to be a bit of trouble with controllers lately. Which update are you blaming for the problem ?

I'm up to date, including KB 4522355 which installed today, but both my XBOX and Logitech F310 (both XInput & DInput modes) controllers

are still fully functional.

- XBOX type controllers should be plug and play on Win10. Are you referring to the XBOX 360 software\driver,

or are you trying to uninstall via Device Manager, or Programs and Features (or Apps & Features) ?

If your controller is showing in Device Manager under XBOX 360 peripherals > XBOX 360 controller for Windows, you may want to try

using Device Manager to reinstall the driver (if this is not one of the tricks you tried already).

R/click on XBOX 360 controller for Windows and select Update Driver

Select the option Browse My Computer For Driver > Let Me Pick....Install (overwriting the current driver) the most recent driver from the list. Mine is 10.0.18362.1 - March 2019

(I assume this version was installed by Windows Updates, as I haven't installed any XBOX software since before upgrading from Win7 > 10 )
