USB to HDMI

Discus and support USB to HDMI in XBoX on Windows to solve the problem; I want to be able to connect my xbox one to my pc monitor but the only free slot I have is USB. If I were to buy a USB to HDMI adapter would it work?... Discussion in 'XBoX on Windows' started by lalazation, Mar 25, 2017.

    I want to be able to connect my xbox one to my pc monitor but the only free slot I have is USB. If I were to buy a USB to HDMI adapter would it work?

    I don't want to buy it and find out that it won't.

    I understand that the tuner used USB not the HDMI In, does that mean I can run my apple tv through the HDMI as well as tv?

    Nice idea. I'm afraid that hooking an HDMI console port to a USB computer port has already been done. Please look at How to Convert HDMI to USB Port.

    If you want to connect your computer monitor that does not have an HDMI port to your Xbox One console, you can use an HDMI adapter and connect it to the monitor's USB port. Its display would depend on the resolution of your computer monitor. To know more
    about your computer monitor's screen resolution, you may need to get in touch with the device manufacturer.

    Potentially yes, but please keep in mind these devices are not designed with latency in mind, theyre for watching movies or giving presentations, and it’s highly likely games may be unplayable due to lag.
