USB Headset/ Mic on Xbox One

Discus and support USB Headset/ Mic on Xbox One in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; So for years now I had this great headset that have amazing sound quality and the mic is amazing as well but I only wished I could use it on my Xbox...     USB Headset/ Mic on Xbox One


    So for years now I had this great headset that have amazing sound quality and the mic is amazing as well but I only wished I could use it on my Xbox instead I have to go buy another headset and I find that a bit inconvenient because I use this one Headset
    with all of my other devices, and I kow that man other users are out there who have a headset that only works via USB and it would be very nice and convenient for the devs to make an update that support them because another console which I will not name has
    this functionality and I know a lot of people who use it, since the devs are working on keyboard and mouse support for the console already an update to support USB headsets would be appreciated as well. I want to hear what others think about this, do you think
    it would be convenient to have?

    Hello Homer,

    We have two of the Xbox One headsets and both seem to work well. May I suggest double checking
    Mic monitoring levels. As you may have already seen, when the headset is plugged into the controller the Xbox automatically recognize it and makes Headset mic Off/On, Headset volume, Headset chat volume and Mic monitoring available right at
    > All settings (kind of cool isn't it).

    As far as USB headset support, I'm not sure. But, from what I am seeing I don't think USB headset is supported on the Xbox One at this time, see "USB

    Xbox Feedback    .

    USB Surround Sound Headphones Perfect for PS4 but Not Working XBOX One

    The micro-usb port on the controller is not designed for use for headphones.

    The Xbox One Controller is designed for using a headset with a 3.5mm jack. There is no general USB support on the Xbox One console for USB headsets.

    You'll need to buy a headset that's compatible with the console.

    Unfortunately you can't use usb mics with the xbox one, you'll have to buy a headset or use an usb mic with a pc while streaming from the xbox.

    Only one that will work is my headset mic but I prefer to use a usb mic.

    USB audio???????

    The xbox one supports Microsoft's usb products such as mics and headsets so it could use what ever headset the PC and ps4 use but they don't. Why is that??

    You cannot use USB devices with the Xbox One unless they are branded as "Made for Xbox One" because Microsoft requires a special communications chip to allow USB devices (headsets, mic, etc) to function
    on the Xbox One. This is different than on PC and PS4.
