usb gamepad detected as usb generic hud w10

hello, a few days ago I bought a game racing wheel, however when connecting it to my main pc it does not even appear in control panel and in device manager it only detects it as "generic USB HUB", try to connect on other computers with windows 10 and to my surprise it works without problems and windows install it as a gamepad, so I made a clean installation of w10 on my main pc to see if it was solved but it is not the case, any solution?

it should be clarified that I install windows 10 from the media creation tool, it was clean installation and I have all the windows updates and drivers.

A detail I just notice is that my PC only have USB 2.0 ports, and my friend one have 3.0... maybe that the problem but idk beacause the wheels is like from the PS2 era.

Actually when the others PCs install it as a gamepad it works properly and I can play with it, the problem is that in my PC it doesnt even install, don't show up in "devices and printers" and in device manager just says "USB generic hub"

Oh, that could be the reason in that case. Some wheels has their own dedicated driver. But as you said is a generic wheel , the system installs a generic driver and it's the reason why you see it as a gamepad.

May I know if you maybe checked your brand website to see if they have dedicated drivers?

If not, you need to use that generic driver

Hi, thanks for answer, It's a generic wheel mark "maestro", apparently it doesn't need an special driver, beacause when I plug it on any other PC it just installs automatically as an USB gamepad
