usb flash drive not working

Discus and support usb flash drive not working in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; so I got a flash drive 3.0 128 gigs formatted correctly and when i plug it in a little window pops up saying its in so i got to set it as capture...     so I got a flash drive 3.0 128 gigs formatted correctly and when i plug it in a little window pops up saying its in so i got to set it as capture location when i try it says i need to format it correctly i reformatted it 5 separate time and checked nsft and still did work i even bought a another flash drive which is 3.0 200 gigs same thing happened plz help and i cant soft reset it

    Have you tried installing it to a USB flash drive. That might work. If your not sure how to use a usb flash drive on the console this link should help

    Configure a USB Flash Drive with a USB Memory Unit. Remove the console's HDD and boot with just the USB flash drive attached. If things work fine then then HD is failing. If they don't then there are bigger problems.

    I'll recommend you do a power cycle to clear the system cache

    - Turn off your console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds, until it shuts down completely.

    - Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 2 minutes.

    - Plug the console power cable back in. Press the Xbox button on your console to turn it on and check if it's all good.
