US X-Box One - Will it work on a PAL TV in Europe and play European games?

Hi All,

I have a US X-Box One and am moving to Europe. I know I'll have to get a new transformer to cope with the 240V mains there but my question is will it be able to display on a European PAL TV as opposed to the US NTSC TVs? Also, if I purchase new games whilst
I'm in Europe, will it be able to play those discs since they'll be for PAL too?

(I'll be connecting to the TV with HDMI)

Hi you shoud be able to play those game since the console is not region lock. but some content and apps might not be available in all regions

Most definitely, as mentioned before, it's not region locked for PAL and NTSC like previous consoles. Only difference you'll see in the regions is the content may vary.

PAL is an analog, SD format. European TVs have been able to display 60hz for at least 20 years. Its US TVs that have PAL disabled

I bekieve youll just need a new end thst goes into the wall. Double check yours to see id it does 220

You should be fine, as said though, some apps might not run.
