URGENT - My Xbox One S won’t turn on, please help!

I was in the middle of playing a game, had been for like 2-3 hours, and then it just shut off completely.

When I try to turn it back on, it does the green loading screen with the Xbox logo for like 15 seconds and then shuts off.

I’ve tried various methods of trouble shooting that didn’t work.

1. 
   I highly doubt it’s overheating because I can hear the fan spinning when I turn it on, plus it doesn’t feel particularly hot.
   
   
2. 
   I don’t think it’s a power issue because it’s able to turn on for like 15 seconds, which I don’t think would be possible if there wasn’t power.

   The only possibility I haven’t completely eliminated is the offline system update. Problem is, most things say you need a windows 10 computer to do this, and all I have is a pretty old Mac, but it does still work. I saw 1 thing that said there is a way to do it with a Mac, but it seemed really complicated so I wanted to see if anyone knew any other things that could be wrong or things that I could do.
   

If there’s any info about the issue that I didn’t state, feel free to leave a comment. Any help would be much appreciated.

Also, I noticed that right before it shuts off after 15 seconds, the Xbox button on the console itself flashes really fast a few times. Not sure if that helps anyone or not.

Also, I tried the factory reset option that “keeps my games and apps” and as soon as I chose my WiFi network during set up, the Xbox shut off, and then began the shutting off and loading cycle again. I’m pretty sure it might have shut off here because I think this was the last step of the set up. Oh
