    I’ve had my Xbox for a couple years now, and I restarted my console because I was having issues with updating a game. Well whenever I tried to log back in, I couldn’t remember my password. So I went to do the code and being that I made the account several years ago I got a new phone number so that wasn’t an option, I’ve done the ACSR every day for the past 2 weeks and it’s denied me every time, I’ve done everything to the best of my knowledge and even used a debit card on that account. I know the password to the account but it’s blocked me from signing in. I’ve tried even doing the form on my Xbox that the account is on. Nothing works and I’ve went around in a circle with Microsoft support. Any solutions or even tips would be greatly appreciated

    as above the account recovery form is your only route, it is you responsibility to keep your account up to date with new phone numbers and address etc etc, these days security is high.

    The only alternative you have at this time is to submit the account recovery form, it is the only way currently to recover an account to which you lost access, it does not guarantee anything although hope is the last thing that is lost:

    The first thing is to enter information that the account has, in case a phone number or card has been deleted, you should simply omit that information and not add it to the form. That said, you can enter the following link:

    https://account.live.com/acsr

    You will do it from another device such as a PC or phone. If you successfully regain access to your account, try signing in to your Xbox again. If for some reason you recover your account but the error persists on your console, it may be that the problem comes from there and it would be better for you to try a factory reset. If so, let me know and I will send you the steps. continue.
