    Urgent help needed. I sold my Xbox one and the new user can't get on


    I sold my Xbox one today because I have an Xbox one x.

    I factory reset it but before I did I had to sign in to Microsoft and make it my "home" Xbox. I thought the factory reset would take that away but the new person got it home and it says it's my home Xbox now.

    I have already gotten on the one x and made sure it was my home Xbox, but he still can't get on.

    He drove 3 hours to pick it up so I can't really go over and put in my password for him.

    What can I do?!

    Edit. He said there's no where to put in an email or create a new account. And no accounts are available.

    I need urgent help. I have sold my xbox and deleted the accounts. I don't know a clue what my gamer tag was or the email address linked to it. But my xbox live is still active and I cannot cancel it. How can I get around this ???

    Hey Rames, are those Xbox LIVE Arcade games? If so, you can complete a
    license transfer     for that profile, which would assign the licenses for those games to your console, meaning anyone on your console could play them. :)

    It's not possible to transfer anything between accounts. You would have to reearn the achievements on the new account.

    Did you try a license migration, as per my last post? Instructions on how to do so are included in that link I provided. :)

    What you'll likely want to do is sign into the profile you want to connect to live on your console, click the center silver button with a green "x" - this is called the guide button. Do not hold it down. That will ask you to turn off the console.

    Choose "join xbox live".

    You will need to use a different email then you used for this account.

    Continue with account creation. All online!
