A few days ago, my Microsoft account was compromised and subsequently deleted by an unauthorized individual. As a result, I found myself unable to access various Microsoft services, including my cherished Minecraft account which was linked to the compromised Microsoft account.

However, despite successfully creating a new account with the same email address, I was disappointed to discover that my Minecraft progress, purchases, and association were not transferred to this newly created account.

The Minecraft account linked to my compromised Microsoft account bears the username "Not_Majo." I have invested significant time, effort, and resources into this account, making the loss all the more distressing.

I am reaching out to your support team with the earnest hope that you can assist me in recovering my Minecraft account and its associated data, which I have built up over time. Microsoft accounts take 30 days to completely delete themselves. They use this time for the individual in case they change their mind about closing their Microsoft account. During this period, all content connected with the account is still stored on that account.

I just thought to share this, so you're not panicking too much about the account being marked as closed.

In terms of getting access back onto your account. Have you tried using the recovery form found here: Account recovery form (live.com)?

If you haven't, please try and complete this form. This will allow the Microsoft account team to review this and verify you are the account holder. Please include as much information as possible for this form as this helps with the validation process.

Once the Microsoft account is deleted, it will not be possible to recover your Minecraft account.

However, if you can still see your Minecraft account being used by the hacker, it means your Microsoft account is still not yet deleted.

If I understand correctly, the Minecraft profile is just a link from a game to a Microsoft account, so what needs to be recovered is the Microsoft Account. The Minecraft profile is a username within the game, not a real account.

If you signed in with a new Microsoft account on your PS5, you will not be able to access your old Minecraft account that was linked to your previous Microsoft account.
