    Upload Clips with wrong title can not be saved (BUG)


    Hi there,

    today I wanted to tidy up all my Upload Clips. Some of them were auto-recorded by some games, most of them were recorded by myself using "Xbox record that" (or what else it is called in english)

    Now I noticed that about 20% of my Clips can not be saved. When I open the context menu, the "save" option is missing.

    After a while I noticed that this only happens when the clip has the wrong title. From what I understand here, the top text is the title e.g. "Battlefield 4" or "Dog tag payback" etc. and the bottom text is the author, in my case ""

    Now, some clips don't have an actual title, both texts just say "", and only these clips can not be saved. I don't know why there is a wrong title, or why this would prevent the XB1 from being able to save a clip, but this is definitely the problem
    here. These mislabeled clips occurred to me on several titles, Battlefield 4 and FIFA14 come to mind right away.

    I am pretty sure this a bug, so I guess there is no solution to this at the moment. But I would really like to hear some official statement on this.

    A pretty annoying workaround for now would be to edit these unsaveable clips in Upload Studio, without any editing at all, and then just save them. But if you have about 40 of these clips like me, this is not fun and user-friendly at all.

    I am really looking forward for any response.

    Turn Off Video Snapshots

    When on the Xbox One home screen press the menu button and go to settings, then preferences, and uncheck where it says "record clips with game DVR." Saved clips can be found and deleted in the Upload app, not Upload Studio though. Highlight clips in the
    "saved clips" section, press the menu button, then choose delete.

    game dvr wont upload clips to xbox live. ive made sure i have no clips saved anywere. so its nouthing to do with space. the clips i make are getting saved but i cant sare them in any way. i keep getting a msg saying unable to upload clip to xbox live.

    I've posted a fix for this in the "upload studio won't upload anything" thread elsewhere in this forum. Seems to be a permanent fix so far. If it works for ya, a good word passed along in microsoft's direction on my behalf would be appreciated as I'm looking
    to be headhunted by them for a gig hopefully. Best of luck. - Mai

    I have a similar problem too, I can take screenshots, I can record clips, but my problem is that I cannot save my captures from before I got Xbox Gold. Clips I can save if I edit them in Upload Studios and record clips now but I cannot save the old ones
    through Game DVR. Screenshots I can only save if I took them after getting XBox Gold not the ones I took before. Is this a bug?

    Every clip that I have edited will not allow me to save it. If I upload a clip and I don't edited it I can save it. Have you edited a clip in Unload Studio and save it?

    Unable to View My Clips in Upload App

    I have been told that at some point during the Hard Line Beta the Upload feature was blocked.

    So even if it showed it recorded a clip you can not save or edit and upload any Hard Line clips.

    I did manage to upload one to Youtube before this occurred. I cannot see this clip in my activity feed but can see it on the Upload My Clips dashboard. More recent Hard Line clips, I can see on the Upload dash but can't access.

    There also seem to be a problem in other games. I recorded by voice command some FH2 clips which displayed and error after I tried to save them while the clip played full screen. If I saved them using the Menu while remaining ion the My Clips dash they seemed
    to have been saved ok.
