Upgrading Xbox live to include Game pass

Here is my question I want to try to keep my payment date the same for my Xbox live but I want to upgrade to the Game pass today is there a way I can pay today but keep my auto payment day the same.

Hi jameskypriadis,

if you choose to buy the Xbox game pass subscription Xbox live is included with the game pass so no need to worry about it as game pass it actually an upgrade to your current membership

If you get Game Pass or upgrade to Game Pass Ultimate for $1 for the remaining time you have left on your Xbox Live Gold subscription it includes Minecraft for Xbox One.

Just a friendly reminder though that you need an Xbox Live Gold subscription to play online, Jimmyworley1.

It's either you will buy the Xbox Live Gold individually or upgrade to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

The Xbox Game Pass Ultimate includes Xbox Live Gold, Xbox Game Pass for Console, PC Game Pass, and EA Play both for Xbox and PC.

By "xbox live" do you mean xbox gold? If you are adding gamepass separately to gold then you might as well just upgrade to the gamepass ultimate. All the current months will convert to gamepass ultimate. Buying them separately will only be a hassle rather than buying them in one package in ultimate. That's also the only way to keep the auto renew date the same is if you upgrade to the ultimate gamepass.

If the subscription that you have is Game Pass for Console, I apologize but it does not include Xbox Live Gold.

You may need to purchase the Xbox Live Gold subscription individually or upgrade to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, which includes Xbox Live Gold.
