Upgrading to a newer Xbox one. (Keeping the old games)

I've had a classic Xbox one (white one that can accept discs) for at least 5 years, and I believe that it's sadly on its last leg. I was planning to get a new Xbox one since I should be able to have my previous games because digital games follow the Xbox account and not the console, but the only Xbox one that is in the Microsoft store is the Xbox one S. I am worried that my games won't transfer to the S variant, so if you don't mind, I would like to know if this is possible.

TL;DR: Old Xbox one is close to breaking, upgrading to Xbox one S, will my previous digital games stay with my account when I switch?

Not necessarily. There are 2 versions of the One S. One that is all digital and one that isn't.

Yes. All One games will work on any version of the One. The only issue would be if you had disc games and were getting an all digital console.

Yes, your digital games will transfer over, just need to sign in with the same account and they'll be ready to download again.
