Ok so my wife’s Xbox is the series one, and mine is the series x , but the only way I sent to be able to get it to work is for her to be on my Xbox and me on hers. Is there no way to make it work both ways?

She should be able to play using her account on the Series S.

I will give my example.

In my house, we have two Series X's, one is mine (Console A) and the other is for my Wife (Console B).

I have a Game Pass subscription in my account (Account A) and my Wife does not (Account B).

My account (A) is set on her console (B) as the Home Console.

This way, once I log into my account and download games there (Console B) she can play them using her account (B).

On my personal console (A) her account (B) is set as Home Console.

I can download games and play normally since I have a subscription.

In summary:

Her console has my account as the main one.

My console has her account as the main one.

We both play using our accounts on our consoles, with no issues.

In your case, adding a third person (Account C) should work fine as well, as long as it's set on the Series S, where your account will the be main one.

I did hear this was an issue with Samsung tv's which is not so good because my wife came home on Saturday with a new Samsung crystal tv. Not tried it with the series s yet. I'm not allowed to steal her new tv.
