Upgraded to S for 50k rewards offer, only given 30k. ****?

During black friday there were Xbox S package offers everywhere. I decided to order directly from MS Store because it had a huge "50k rewards for upgrading" on the main page. They only deposited 30k points. I posted a question under 'support', including
a link to the 50k offer, which is still up. The response was just "you aren't eligible", with no reason given or any explanation of why I was even shown the offer (when logged in to my account). They also locked the thread so I couldn't ask any further questions,
and direct messages to the MS acct have been completely ignored.

It's not a lot of money, but I don't like being cheated, and I especially don't like being muted and ignored. Just leaving this here for anyone else in the same situation, to let you know you weren't the only one taken in by this.

Live and learn, I guess.

Hello Medicine Bow,

That offer was only for select members. Since you were not selected for this offer, you were given the default 30,000 Credits. If you had been selected, that offer page would have shown you a code for free expedited shipping.

I ordered a new Xbox One S during Black Friday (Order #9870176178) to take advantage of the 50k Rewards upgrade offer shown on the MS Store page. 30k points were just posted to my account. Please correct this and post the full 50k Rewards.

You can repost in the support section to see if support will clarify, but the 50,000 credit offer was not actually sent to all members so not everyone was eligible. If you weren't chosen for the offer (chosen meaning you had the offer emailed directly to
you or it showed on the Missions page of the Rewards site when you were signed in), then you would receive the credits for the default offer of 30,000 credits.

Well, the offer showed up on the xbox page in the store, when I was logged in. If I wasn't eligible, they shouldn't have shown it to me, IMO.

Also, apparently you're not supposed to complain, because I now can't see the 30k points in my account any more. Seriously, ****?

Ah right, well I also saw the one about upgrading worth 30k reward points. I thought that was for current XB1 owners upgrading to XB1-S and the other that I mentioned worth 50k for 360 owners upgrading to a brand new XB1/XB1-S.

Not exactly their finest hour in clarity. Still I expect some points coming my way as the offer was the only reason I chose to upgrade and buy it direct from Microsoft - even if its the lower 30k amount.
