Upgraded to Microsoft solitaire collection. OK on tablet and phone,not computer. No tech ...

After spending hours on the phone with Microsoft Tech Support and Xbox Tech Support And getting the run around and getting nowhere !!!! I figured out how to fix the sound problems with Microsoft Solitaire Collection after updating to Microsoft 8.1 !!!! Even
when Microsoft Tech Support tells you there is a new update patch to fix the problem the patch does not automatically update your sound driver after you have installed Microsoft 81. So here is what I did after spending month or so on this particular problem
!!!!!! My PC is a HP Envy 23-d060qd Touchsmart All-in One I went to the HP website support section entered the product number for my PC and downloaded the driver software for my sound card and that fixed the sound problem with the Microsoft Solitaire Collection.
So my suggestion to everyone that has had this problem is go to your computers manufacture website go to the support section and re download your computers soundcard drivers. Most computer companies have the support and driver section on there websites so
you can do this and it is pretty easy to do this. It's to bad Microsoft Tech Support doesn't tell you this when you call their Tech Support phone number !!!!! I hope this helps everyone !!!!

I have the same problem. I play Microsoft solitaire collection on a PC and on a tablet. Both do not seem to be working with the Bonus games.

Make sure you are logged into Solitaire collection with the same microsoft account with which your purchased the premium upgrade.

I am having the same issue with the same timing. Although initially it was affecting other apps as well like news and weather on Win 8 even the Apps store would not launch, which was really bad as that's were I get redirected to from the Microsoft knowledge
base online. It was like a bad joke - go to this App to fix the problem but the App does not work which is the problem Seriously??.

So I shut it down over night and restarted in the AM and I was able to get into the App store where I upgraded to 8.1 This appeared to resolved the start failure issues for almost all my problem apps except the Solitaire collection and CNN. After that I
tried uninstalling and re installing the Solitaire Collection to no avail, it still does not work. Everything else seams to work OK now but I miss my solitaire app. OK Microsoft please fix this or my next computer is an apple.
