**Upgraded to GOLD via an Xbox One and a Xbox live year pass code....Never received 10$ credit ...

To summarize- I upgraded via xbox live thru an icon that said "upgrade to gold receive 10$ in Microsoft bucks" so I did that...I used a code I purchased and then got a year pass....but never received the credit to my account

Weekend Fun Competition Prize Code is Invalid

Hi Promotions Team,

I received an email on the 28/04/15 stating that I was one of 100 winners of the Weekend Fun competition. This email contained two prize codes - A 1 month Xbox Live Gold code, and a $10 Xbox Credit code. The code for the Xbox Live Gold worked fine, but the
code for the $10 Xbox Credit is invalid. It is not in the form of a typical 25 character code, and instead has 34 characters.

Could you please investigate this, and send me a working code for the $10 Xbox Credit?

 

Mastercard game pass

I participated in the promotion to purchase one year xbox live subscription with a mastercard and receive one month xbox game pass for free and never received my code.

 

In order to qualify for dashboard promotions, you have to purchase the gold directly through the offer. Prepaid codes would not count.

 

But the option for using a CODE is through the portal for the promotion. It gives the option to do so...and with a valid Xbox Live Scratch off code....I think it should be honored in my personal opinion. I don't see why they would leave an option to use
a code if their intent was to have people purchase it via the online store...Its a dishonest way of getting people to try to take honest advantage of an incentive given my MS. A 7 year user of Xbox Live mostly GOLD...and to see the chance to get 10$ and also
upgrade back to it...was a no brainer...but to say its not for people who have Codes , yet have the option under the sign up area for the promotion is really kinda slimy

 

As per the terms and conditions you must purchase the membership

Codes count as previous purchases since your bought it from another retailer

All promotions work like that you must purchase not game then system

The purchase screen is the same regardless

It's the terms and conditions you must follow that are importanr

Buying a code is subject to the purchase at the point of sale not the purchase of a dashboard Del that requires a valid payment option

 

At pos you give the money to the retailer who bought it from ms

Which doesn't count for any promotions

You have to buy a promotion not avoid the term's and conditions

As mentioned by a couple folks here, these promotions require a payment option that is tied to your account. Pre-paid codes do count as a previous purchase, which is not eligible for this promotion. Sincere apologies for any frustration this may cause.
