Upgrade hogwarts from Xbox one version to x/s version

Great question, in the store you will find three versions of Hogwarts Legacy, one for Xbox One, another for Series S/X, and the Deluxe version, the Xbox one version you can play on any console in the Xbox One family, the Series S/ X only works on new generation consoles, and the Deluxe version comes with both Hogwarts for Xbox and Hogwarts for Series S/X game versions and exclusive content. Be very careful when making your purchase not to buy the Series S/X version of the game, this version is only compatible with the latest generation consoles. The version of the game Hogwarts for Xbox One can be played on Series S and Series X consoles, but you won't have the same graphics as the exclusive version for Series S and Series X consoles. The Hogwarts Legacy Deluxe Edition (at least the digital version) contains both the Xbox Series X/S version and the Xbox One version.

Bear in mind that the Xbox One version of the game doesn't release until April 4th so it will show as only available for Series S/X until that time

I'm assuming you're referring to Hogwarts Legacy? The Series S/X version will only work on a Series S/X. You would need the One version.

I apologize, but the Xbox Series X|S version of Hogwarts Legacy is only playable on Xbox Series X|S. You can confirm this on the store page at https://origin-prod.xbox.com/en-US/games/store/.... The only version that is playable on both Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S is the Xbox One version of the game.

It is normal for you to have the option to pre-order the Xbox Series X|S version of the game on your Xbox One console. This way, if you decide to upgrade to an Xbox Series X|S in the future, you can simply sign in to your account and download the game to your new console.

When it's listed as S/X, it's referring to the Series S/X not the One. If there is a One version of the games you're wanting to play, you would need to make sure to get that version of the game, not the Series S/X version.

The One version of Hogwarts Legacy is currently available for preorder and will release on April 4.
