Can xbox kick me out of the insider so i can perform the offline update which I'm stuck at.

if i took the cd drive out of an xbox one s and attached it via usb to an xbox series s, would it be able to run discs?

same here. Xbox was stuck a 66% for HOURS! i tried the hard reset and updating offline via USB and the Xbox is stuck again at 66% again updating with a USB stick!
