    Updating games at awful speed


    My xbox one is having difficulties with the internet lately. I have a 200mb/s wireless internet connected to the console, yet my games have been updating at 20kb/s speed for days now. I have checked the internet speed at the consol settings and it shows
    198mb/s for download, yet when it comes to actually downloading it’s not working at all. I tried everything ai could, have reset the consol and the internet as well, nothing works. Any suggestions?

    I have the same issue.. it seems like it's always been slow to download or install anything even though my Internet is 35mbs. Everything I download is around100-500kbs. I checked on my pc also and it's fine on there so I'm guessing it's something to do with
    the servers not allowing us to do download at our real speeds?

    Have you cechecked the given downloads speed in the xbox's netweork settings? Do they display correctly?

    Are you on a wired or wireless connection?

    Hard-wired, peaked at 6mb/s downloaded about 700mb, it went right back down to 100-200kb/s. If I unplug the cord and plug it right back in, it will jump back up to 2-3mb/s but drop back down to 100-200kb/s within a minute or so..

    This maybe also an issue with your internet provider as some of them are lowering the speeds for game downloads.

    Well, back again and have check bandwidth usage again, it's about 2:45am, no one is on the internet, nothing else downloading/uploading, no streams, I bought Halo MCC, download started at 3.65mb/s, after about 400mb downloaded it dropped right back down
    to 150-200kb/s. And this is a 60GB download >.> I am on a wireless connection, I have a pretty long ethernet cable i'll try to hook up and see if the speeds change but i'm really not that far from my router so, meh
