Updating from X360 to XOne

Sup peoples.

I have a copy of destiny, a disc copy, but i am upgrading to an xbox one. Will i be eligble to receive, for free, the Xone version of Destiny via download? I know this is available for those that have digitally downloaded a copy of destiny to their X360 consoles.

I was planning on purchasing it again for the XOne, but if it's available to download as it's been purchased already then no point paying for another copy.

Again, no. You can purchase the season pass and (I think) it will work for the One as well as the 360, but in order to get the free upgrade you need to buy the digital download.

 

Sorry only if bought the Digitial download do you get the free upgrade.

 

How about if i purchase the season pass on the X360? Would that be sufficient to get the free copy on XONE. Mind you the pass is at £35.00, but i dont mind tbh. Free content WoOt!

 

The season pass will be you both versions but you still have buy a x1 copy. Do what I going to do buy the x1 copy used.

 

I decided to just get the XONE copy, got it online for £35 brand new.

Yeah, i think upgrading to the Xbox One's download version of Destiny only works if you bought the Xbox 360's version of Destiny. I do lIke that games are doing that between consoles though! I'll have to start buying download versions since I plan on getting
a One soon but want the's new games now. Buying it twice would be a pain.

 

It's pretty lame that you can't get it thru download If you bought the game especially the legendary edition! But I guess that's just how it works. But you will be able to have the season pass and whatever add-ons you have previously downloaded on your Xbox
360
