    For the last few days I have been having trouble updating and loading owned games. I choose a game and it tells me something has gone wrong and that my game has taken too long to load. Sometimes my games don't even register in the games section. They are
    in ready to install and stay there. My Internet connection is fine. Every now and then I am able to load and play a game but those moments are few and far between. I read the support page last night and it said xbox had the aforementioned issues and that they were
    working to resolve it. Today the support page said everything is working fine but I am still having the same issue. Anyone aware of what this issue is and when it will be fixed?

    Update failed

    i tried it and it still said "there is an update required to sign in to xbox live, but the update is unavailable

    i didnt try downloading the update for the game itself though.

    I would try to clear your system cache and then try to update again, If you are not sure how to clear your system cache follow the instructions in the link below.

    Hey Solar, sorry to hear about the update issues! Okay, to be sure, when you say that you tried the 'network' method, do you mean that you tried connecting directly to your modem, resetting the modem, and then prompting the update? if not, please try that
    now. :)

    If you have tried those steps, then please try clearing the latest update, and give that direct-modem connection another try. To clear the latest update, follow these steps:

    On your console, go to Settings hub, and then select System.

    Select Storage.

    On your controller, press the following button sequence:

    1. Press the left bumper.
    2. Press the right bumper.
    3. Press the X button.
    4. Press the left bumper.
    5. Press the right bumper.
    6. Press the X button.
